Summary/Abstract: Over the years, nursing schools in Ljubljana have been established to educate and train the many generations who responded to one of the most humane professions, providing assistance to healthy and in particular vulnerable patients who could not manage on their own. With their expertise and empathy, nurses perform important tasks for the benefit of the patient. The article describes how nursing training developed and improved in Ljubljana from 1923 to 2022.
