Summary/Abstract: Europe's global corporations, which are considered economic giants of trade, are located in countries that belong to the European Community, and the legal system of the European Community as well as its principles are focused on various freedoms, including the freedom of interstate trade. Therefore, the market of the member states of the European Community can be seen as homogeneous and as such provides many advantages in terms of simplification and shortening of procedures when it comes to the international exchange of goods. Companies engaged in import activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina need to plan steps based on their conditions, possibilities and competences, and one of those that is treated in this paper is the introduction of modern systems when importing goods from the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Global freight forwarding corporations regularly and with great attention follow these developments in the territorial and legal-economic field of the European Community and try to adjust their operations in a timely manner to this dynamic and other developments in this field.
