Summary/Abstract: Corruption is a negative social and individual phenomenon and therefore represents a current problem in the actual functioning of the business world system. There are numerous definitions and the categorical apparatus of this phenomenon is rich, which indicates the interest of the academic community in its research. There is no country that is immune to corruption in higher education, but there are differences in its phenomenological forms, the degree of anonymity in its explanations and the models of anti-criminal activities. In the Republic of North Macedonia, the term systemic corruption has recently been used as the biggest threat to business in the future. For example, corruption in the education system has repercussions on the business world and this reflects negatively on the human resources subsystem, which is the core of a company. Corruption in the field of justice has the same impact for new investments, for the development of business strategies and in general for trust in public administration.
