Summary/Abstract: This study examines the feasibility of gastronomy museums in Hatay and their potential contributions to tourism and cultural heritage in the region. Hatay, declared as the “Gastronomy City” by UNESCO, has great potential for gastronomy tourism with its rich culinary culture and local flavors. The research evaluated the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats with qualitative interviews and SWOT analysis.The results show that Hatay’s gastronomy museum offers an important opportunity in terms of preserving cultural heritage, increasing tourism revenues and strengthening international recognition. However, weaknesses such as lack of promotion, inadequate infrastructure and failure to preserve traditional recipes should be addressed. Digital promotions, academic studies and stakeholder collaborations are recommended for the full evaluation of Hatay’s gastronomy tourism potential.
