Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with a linguistic area of interest in the field of French food-related lexicon, that is the ever-increasing amount of words borrowed from the British and American English covering all the grammatical categories. The number of words borrowed from English is becoming bigger and bigger due to the progress in science and technology. The entry of Anglicisms in most languages and fields is explained by one’s need to express certain realities that have occurred over the last years.
