"Analele Brăilei", 95 years since magazine’s first appearance

Summary/Abstract: Almost a century ago, at the celebration of a hundred years since the liberation of Braila from the Turks, the engineer Gh. T. Marinescu hadthe initiative to establish a regional cultural magazine, in the spirit of DimitrieGusti's sociological school and in resonance with other initiatives of this kind. The first issue of the magazine „Analele Brailei” appeared at the beginning of 1929.
