Female veiling “kaica” in the region of Vidin

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to be presented two female hats from the region of Vidin, popular with the name “kaica” – “red kaica” and “kaica”, covered with coins. Their connection with analogical and similar head covers is also examined, in the Bulgarian, as well as in the traditional dress of other nations, because of the ethno-cultural and ethno-genetic interrelations of the ancient, and contemporary Bulgarians with them.
