IS PUPPET THEATER IN A CRISIS?

Summary/Abstract: The text discusses and analyses the three key points of creative energy that are vital for the contemporary puppet theater. There is a need to be creative in the crisis and if you change your attitude you could become a creative person. One can find these key creative charging points in the Sofia Puppet Theater, the stages of the training puppet theater and the auditoriums of the academy in National Academy for Theatre and film Arts „Krastio Sarafov”, in Theater Atelier 313 and the Sofia Municipal Theater and the founded in the 21st century International festival „Puppet’s fair”. These theatrical spaces give birth to experiments and at the same time preserve the tradition that carries messages not only from the ancient times of puppet theater but is also charged with truthful- ness that so much needed now .
