Summary/Abstract: The author of the article analyses the texts of three comic poems of Croatian baroque literature to find out how parodic persiflage is created. It is evident that the parody used in Derviš by S. Đurđević, Gorštak by I. Bunić Vučić, Suze Marunkove by I. Đurđević is strongly influenced by Petrarchian lyrics: If in an already established model some new elements with changed values are inserted, the result will be a degradation of the higher values of the gallant model of love lyrics and pastorals. The author continues to examine the means and procedures which are relevant for the "opposite tone". These procedures can be recognized with greater or lesser variations in the above mentioned texts, and they bring to light the differences between the poems.
