Summary/Abstract: By the entry and working of big multinational distributive networks on the Slovak market, many changes have occurred, which had a positive, negative and quantitative and qualitative character. The scope of these changes is very big. In general, it is possible to divide them into three fundamental areas, while each of them cannot be understood alone, but in a collective sense. The first of them introduces an economic impact caused by the dominant state of the big networks. The second change is created by an environmental fall, caused by the construction and localization of business units. The third area is created by the social and public falls in the society.
