SOCIAL CAPITAL – SOME ASPECTS

Summary/Abstract: Four selected issues concerning social capital are briefly presented in the article: problems with the definitions of social capital, its two ways character of influence on socio-economic development (and particularly adverse social capital), two points of view of social capital: as public goods and as private goods as well as a critical point of view on social capital. This issues cause that the concept of social capital is still alive and there are lively and stormy discussions about social capital.
