Summary/Abstract: The problems treated in this article outline the way in which Montenegrin policymaking archetype was oriented and articulated vis-à-vis Albanian antiottoman uprising of 1911. In the framework of its national policy and interests, Montenegro followed with special attention the events that developed in Albania. Montenegro’s main purpose was to take under control all the leadership of the uprising and use it for Albanian territories invasion, especially that of Shkodra. Following this objective King Nikola appeared very active and participant with the purpose of a realizing his geopolitical goals. Malësia uprising in 1911 created favorable conditions for Cetina to become a factor, to be a protagonist in southeastern Europe political scene. Montenegrin state was involved in various ways along Albanian uprising development all. It offered to Albanians different kinds of aid and shelter for the refugees in its territory, respecting international norms of the time. Because of the complexity of created circumstances and the pressure exerted by Montenegro, Albanian antiottoman uprising of 1911 started ahead of time decided by National Movement leaders. Montenegrin policy did not remain passive towards Albanian political demands. It attempted to influence in the wording of Greçë Memorandum approved points, regardless of Albanian leaders’ insistence not to be manipulated by Cetine’s interests.
