Summary/Abstract: Under the influence of political and military events, the Black Sea has converted into a complex crossing point of geopolitical and geo-economic borders, becoming a strategic point in the energetic resources’ conflict. The EU energy security, the Black Sea’s status as an energetic link (due to the fact that the Black Sea area constitutes a strategic bridge between Europe and the Caspian Sea area) and the insecurity fields in the Black Sea area represent several subjects of an uppermost interest for the European security.
