Summary/Abstract: The conflict of energetic interests can be defined as a hidden, undeclared war, which constitutes an even bigger threat to the states’ security. The energetic security in the Black Sea area is a much discussed subject on the work agenda of community leaders and not only. It has also been analyzed in different, official European Union documentation. Therefore, the building of a secure, stable and prosperous environment in the Black Sea area represents one of the main directions for action in the shaping of the European Union’s energetic security.
