Summary/Abstract: The energy policy refers to the identification and reduction of vulnerabilities, counteracting risks and threats to the energetic security. In the last few years, the European energy policy has always adapted to the new economic and geopolitical tendencies and has tried to guarantee the energy supply at a reasonable price, by respecting the market’s tools, promoting energetic efficiency and environmental protection. Ensuring the coherence of the energy policy as a whole can be accomplished through the energy policy integration of the member states in defining the European energy strategy and through coordinated actions at a community level.
