Summary/Abstract: In the article the author takes upon himself to examine a little treated question especially in our studies, and in general. The problem ofthe contribution ofthe arberesh to support the Albanian uprising of the year 1911 has been seen, mainly, in the frame\\lork ofthe preparations for the uprising ofthe year 191 I, in the framework ofthe studies devoted to the garibaldian movement in Italy, ofthe treatments ofthe diplomatic history on the Austrian-Italian rivalry in the Adriatic and in the Western Balkans, or of the eastern policy of Italy, not only in Albania, but also in Africa. It has been identified~ extrenlely reduced, with the failed action of Terenc T09i in Mirdite. The role of the arberesh ITIobilized around the committees ""Pro Patria" has been eclipsed by the treatments devoted to the Italian tilovement in the fralTIework of the cOlnmittees '''Pro Albania", ofthe projects for the organisation ofthe expedition which would be under the comnland ofthe Garibaldi's son, general Riciotti. In truth, as it is proved in the article, the promoters ofthe whole movement which developed in all Italy during the year 191 1 in favor ofthe Albanian uprising were the arberesh or the Albanian-Italians. And this is so true that even when a great part ofdeternlined Italian political circles, mainly of the opposition, found themselves opposite the hostile stand oftheir government towards the uprising in Albania, withdraw from the pro-Albanian movement, the arbereshe continued insistently their efforts to assist the war oftheir brothers ofthe sanle blood for liberty.
