Summary/Abstract: Partnership represents the process of collaboration between two or more parties in order to achieve common benefits or aims in terms of communication, coordination and collaboration. It also implies the sharing of responsibilities when carrying out an activity by specifying their duties and contributions, aspect which is indicated in a partnership agreement (convention, protocol, contract). Sullivan & Scelcher (2002) state that a partnership includes: negotiation among individuals who belong to distinct organizations and engage themselves to work together over a longer period of time; objectives concerning the acquisition of some values and benefits which an organization cannot obtain by working all alone; a formal emphasize on the aim and the drawing up of a plan to form a strong connection between the organizations implied in that partnership.
