Summary/Abstract: The study presents the results of modeling and forecasting the demand for high frequency data (half-hourly) electric energy in the region for half-hourly data. The forecasts have been prepared on the basis of models which describe by means of dummy variables three types of periodic fluctuations with annual, weekly and daily cycles. Moreover, the models include the variables of this type for the purpose of marking holidays. The models also include lagged values of endogenous variable. Ex post analysis of forecast accuracy has been con¬ducted during the process of the empirical verification of forecasts.
