A Parliamentary Overview in terms of the Romanian Constitution Revision

Summary/Abstract: The article represents an analysis of the debates on the Constitutional amendments project within the Chamber of Deputies, presenting both the factual, numerical data (members of the Constitutional Commission, modifications and other relevant data) and the position of each Parliamentary Group. In the same time the article tries to emphasize the most important aspects of the Constitutional debates both from the political and the legal point of view and underlines its significance as the first project meant to revise the Romanian post-communist Constitution.
