Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the increasing importance of mass media in the European area and the effects religion has on the complex political system of the EU. Due to the TV channels the religious phenomenon is much more present in the entertainment industry. Very often, in the official reports of the European Union, religion is present as part of the legal immigration or of the human rights issues. In this perspective, could religion be a serious policy issue?
