Summary/Abstract: The paper is a retrospective overview of the crucial role played by the Internet in the globalization of business, which is increasingly present in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole world. Global recognition of the Internet, together with all the possibilities which the Internet offers directed companies’ operations toward international marketing programs through creating Internet marketing strategies. Internet, as a global, media phenomena, together with the effect of the all others factors from international environment had an important impact on developing new ways of doing business and making new formats and concepts of marketing activates in the new Internet environment. The main topic of the paper are the phenomena of the Internet and digital market, with its positive and negative impact on business and with all the possibilities which Internet gives for global expansion. Naturally, the author pays particular attention to the Bosnia and Herzegovina situation in the Internet field. It is impossible not to conclude that the Internet is a tool which can connect everybody to everybody, and which gives everybody the same starting position. Also, it is very important that the Internet is changing positions of the parties on the international market.
