Summary/Abstract: Life styles occur under influence of different factors, such as: social system characteristics, social problems, technology development, and life priorities. Modern technological development completely changed all industries. It also affected food industry, especially the way food is produced. Many researches in the field of organic food and organic food production are conducted worldwide, while in Bosnia and Herzegovina this area is still not getting adequate attention.This paper points at the relation between the organic food consumption and market segments defined on life style basis. Quantitative research confirmed relation between organic food consumption and elements of consumers’ life style. It also showed the influence of products price and whether consumers come from urban or rural environment on organic food purchase decision.
