The Biography and the Death of Prof. Ivan Georgov in Prof. Ivan Sarailieff’s Archives

Summary/Abstract: There are few interesting documents and a Prof. Ivan Georgov’s biography preserved in Ivan Sarailieff’s archives. The article explains the context behind the historical evidence: the relations between Georgov and Sarailieff, the status of the unpublished works by Georgov after his death, and the possible author of his biography. The documents and their analysis give some view not only on the life and works of Ivan Georgov but also on the Bulgarian cultural and political reality in the first half of the XX century.
