Military Aspects of Asymmetry in International Securiry

Summary/Abstract: Recently, in connection with news about negative impacts of ongoing processes of globalization and continual worsening of global security environment, we meet with information about new asymmetric security threats, asymmetric conflicts, asymmetric operations, asymmetric means of fight, and asymmetric approach to solution of conflicts or achievement of determined goals still more and more often. Therefore, an author, in his contribution, through the analysis, synthesis and comparison of acquired data and information, aims his effort to clarification, definition and use of terms as asymmetry in military, characteristic and types of asymmetric threats, and asymmetric conflicts, asymmetry in operations, and other phenomena and connections related to these terms within international security.
