Summary/Abstract: The movement for the organisation of the Albanian woman in the diaspora had as its aim the educational develompent of the woman, the learning and writing of the Albanian language, the conservation of the best Albanian tradition in family and community, the struggle against the bad inherited habits to improve the position of the Albanian woman in family, the integration in the environment where they were established, the preservation of the connections with the birth-place through the collaboration and the mutual help with the women's societies in Albania, the preservation and transmission to the new generations of the love for homeland.
