TOOLS AND TASkS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ICT COMPETENCE IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES

Summary/Abstract: Principles of ICT professional competence development according needs of e-society establishment programs and virtual teaching environment in universities are discussed. Currently students enter universities with sufficient level of computer literacy knowledge, therefore the problem of further development of students ICT competence in professional level is actual. Solution of this problem is complicated because requirements for professional competence in different specialties are different. Authors point problems of ICT professional competence development in management studies and demonstrate how these problems can be solved on Management Information Systems course basis. The structure of such course, methods of teaching and environment for development of practical skills are introduced.
