O „ZRADĚ“ FRANTIŠKA HRUBÍNA PO VYSTOUPENÍ NA II. SJEZDU SPISOVATELŮ
ON „THE BETRAYAL“ OF FRANTIŠEK HRUBÍN AFTER HIS SPEECH GIVEN AT THE 2ND CONGRESS OF WRITERS

Summary/Abstract: The report deals with the period between 1956 and 1957 in life of František Hrubín. In 1956, Hrubín acted bravely at the 2nd Congress of Association of Czechoslovak writers. In the following year, in which the pressure and need to surpass all the congress´ statements that excited and encouraged the readers and the writers continues, Hrubín adds several rectifying sentences to his congress speech. The report is based on the documents from František Hrubín´s inheritance (kept in the Literary Archive PNP in Prague). comparison of particular wordings, commentaries and memoirs is confronted with the image of Hrubín´s performance in the latest secondary literature.
