Summary/Abstract: The article presents how experiences of children can be presented through play. The content can be either traumatic past experiences or his/her own hopes and fears. In many cases they bring stories that they have seen in movies and cartoons or have heard from someone. They also play an anticipation play that shows a future, anticipated conflict or major change. This shows how receptive children are to their surroundings and all that is going on there. They can easily sense the forthcoming changes or disturbing dangers. The forms children use while playing are the following: the repetition of what they have heard, transposition (interpretation with the help of puppets, symbolic formulation. Mechanisms used: repetition, compressing, pushing off motives. Those experts who use play therapy say children interpret difficult experiences in 3 ways: they repeat what had happened, they inverse the roles or they correct the events.
