Summary/Abstract: The article presents some aspects of family education in case of young children. The author presents the positive aspects of practice of religion within the family. For parents, praying together with the child is an important factor of education. But in case of young children nonverbal communication is even more important than with adults. Children at this age (3-5 years) are less effective in verbal communication. They are also keen observers of hidden messages. That is why in their case play is of an important role: when playing, they are free to express their feelings, concerns, and they are able to do it because in a play they can use gestures, facial expression. Thus play is a real and effective approach to young children.
