Summary/Abstract: Intelligence warfare, when speaking strictly militarily, could be defined as all intelligence operations conducted on a tactical, operational and strategic, in peacetime, crisis and escalting conflict in order to achieve goals or influence certain targets. The military component of intelligence warfare, command and control warfare, is, in NATO’s view, the integrated use of all military capabilities, including security operations, deception, psychological operations, electronic warfare, and physical destruction, supported by all intelligence sources and communications and informational systems in order to deny access to information, influence, damage and to destroy the capability of the enemy’s command and control, while their military capabilities are protected against similar actions.
