Aspects related to the specificity of psychological care in a hospital environment

Summary/Abstract: This report examines the specific aspects of psychological care in hospitals. The study is limited to psychological interventions in times of crisis (most often an accident or surgery) in the hospital. The main focus is on two aspects: the first is related to the specifics of the hospital environment and the limitations it imposes on the use of psychotherapeutic methods and the second on specific psychological interventions useful for use in such conditions. The idea is to offer the development of techniques suitable for psychological work in a dynamic situational conditioned environment.
