Summary/Abstract: This article is a critical reflection on what the author considers as the current closing of the European mind due to a process of bureaucratisation and commercialisation of the academia. It suggests that Europe, following the United States in its reforms, is currently killing the freedom of thought and liberal arts in the name of transnational management and cooperation. Free-circulation happens in a closed-minded world.
