Summary/Abstract: The space is a category that necessarily combines with the category of time. So they shape an entire structure playing a significant semiotic role in plots. The city is a special case of configuration. It carries potential or virtual meanings following the interaction of “actants” to guide the interpretation of the story. In this theoretical framework the poetic narrative written by Jacques Réda shows how a walk in a quarter of Paris turns into theological reflection.
