Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the comparison of the offered solutions to the controversial media ownership transformation, focusing on those media, that are in ownership of ethnic communities, as defined in the draft o the Strategy for Development of Media in Serbia until the year 2016 and in the Strategy for Development of Media in Vojvodina. The author offers at the end of the text a possible solution in a form of establishment of an independent fund for financing all media, but on different grounds.
