Impact of economic crisis on the economic situation in polish agriculture

Summary/Abstract: The financial crisis that started in 2007 in the US housing market crisis, turned into an economic crisis, which took over the whole world, including the EU and Poland. Since Poland has a relatively weak ties to the US real estate and finance, as it came out unscathed from the global economic crisis. This does not mean “pink” situation of Polish economy. The crisis has negatively affected all the economic sectors, including agriculture. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to present the changes in the economic situation in Polish agriculture caused by the economic crisis.
