Summary/Abstract: Our work aims to provide a picture of current and future research projects that took into account the development of techniques and methods that facilitate communication or, more precisely, what is generically called Intercomprehension. It has always existed, but the concept was first developed by the French, being immediately applied for written communication, then for oral communication, in the family of Romance languages . Currently Intercomprehension transcends borders, and one can speak of a functional Intercomprehension by means of which speakers of very different idioms, aware of the existence of plurilingualism and multiculturalism, understand one another and understand general messages in the language of the other
