Biblical Anthroponyms - Phraseological Units. Formal Semantic Similarities and Differences in German, Romanian and French

Summary/Abstract: This study aims at investigating contrastively a few phraseological units containing biblical anthroponyms in German, Romanian and French. We submitted some German expressions to a semantic and formal scrutiny, obtaining many possibilities of combinations between the phraseological units in German and their equivalent in Romanian and French. As a conclusion, we justified the similarities and differences concerning form and content between the expressions in the three languages by their affiliation to the same cultural European space.
