Financial economy of the urban-rural commune of Kozienice in the years 2003-2012

Summary/Abstract: The article presents chosen aspects of financial economy of the commune of Kozienice in the years 2003-2012. The subject of the research is carrying out a budget of the commune of Kozienice. In the research work there is made an exact analysis connected with the changes of income and expenses of the commune in economic, social and ecological fields. Furthermore, there are also defined the basic indices of the budget, their changes in the studied period as well as the causes of these changes. The author tries to undertake a task to answer a research question if the financial economy of the commune favours the realization of an idea of sustainable development on the local level. In the summary there are formulated some general conclusions related to the finances of the commune as well as some practical recommendations in the range of expected changes in its financial economy.
