Chosen financial-administrative aspects of the local development in the opinion of councilors of Grójec, Kozienice, Szydłowiec communes (terms of office: 2002–2006, 2014–2018)

Summary/Abstract: This paper constitutes the synthetic presentation of the opinion by councilors of three urban-rural communes regarding the selected aspects of the local development. In the article, the main factors and measures of this development were identified. The aim to conduct the survey of councilors was to hear the opinion of councilors of communes in four thematic groups: the general organization of the commune, the current realization and organization of social services, the proposed changes in financing these services and the influence of the commune on the life quality of residents, which is one of the measures of the local development. The significant changes of this opinion within 12 last years were analyzed and based on the participating observations of the author. An attempt to determine the reasons for the changes was also made. In the summary, the conclusions concerning the current evaluation of the operations taken by the communes for the local development and the proposed changes are presented, which will have a positive influence on the development of communes.
