Financial economy of the communes Kozienice, Grójec, Szydłowiec in the years 2003–2016 as a factor of sustainability development at the local level

Summary/Abstract: The article presents chosen aspects of financial economy of the urban-rural communes Kozienice, Grójec, Szydłowiec in the years 2003–2016. The subject of the research is carrying out budgets of the communes. In the research work there is made an exact analysis connected with the changes of income and expenses of the communes in such fields as: economic, social and ecological. Furthermore, there are also defined the basic indices of the budget, their changes in the studied period as well as the causes of these changes. The author tries to answer the question: does the financial economy of the communes favour the realization of an idea of sustainable development on the local level? In the summary there are formulated some general conclusions related to the finances of the communes as well as some practical recommendations in the range of expected changes in their financial economy.
