Institutional conditions of knowledge diffusion in agriculture on the basis of the research in the Opole Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to estimate a degree of placement of particular co-management structures and individual institutions within the farmers’ social networks. The significance of different organizations within the knowledge and information diffusion has been presented. This distinguishing feature has been recognized as an institutional effectiveness criterion. The empirical material comes from the survey research conducted in 2008 and 2013 in the merchandise agriculture households in Opole region. On the basis of the research it has been stated that the significance of institutions within the agricultural information and knowledge diffusion is growing which is reflected in the modernization processes in agricultural households.
