Summary/Abstract: In this study will be analyzed two kinds of interwar Romanian organizations or parties – National Party and Peasant Party – and their ulterior fusion as a National Peasant Party, from the perspective of their organizational structures and the evolution of these structures. The aim of this study is to bring some light in what is called the efforts in modernizing: the organizational reconstruction, the strengthening of the electorate body, the improvement of the relations with the electorate. Another aim is to explain why these efforts failed. The argument that supports this kind of work is that Romanian parties aren’t sufficiently studied as organizations and the interwar or postwar parties so much the less.
