Influence of globalisation on small and medium enterprises at Upper Silesian district

Summary/Abstract: Contemporary environment, both sociological and economic, is influenced by globalization and internationalization. The enterprises in large and small or medium sectors have to face challenges of dynamically changed environment and adapt their strategies and marketing actions to market conditions. Silesian district is one of the most important and fast developing in Poland. There are a lot of challenges but also opportunities for small and medium companies within Silesian market. The article focuses on small and medium companies’ chances for success, challenges and threats at this local environment within global economy.
