The application of the ahp method in the process of financing renewable energy sources projects

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the issues related to financing renewable energy sources projects, with a particular attention given to housing communities. The AHP method was applied in the process of financing RES projects. This method enables making the right choice of the credit institution in a precise and clear manner in order to implement a renewable energy sources project. Entities such as housing communities are particularly interested in upgrading their heating systems to save costs. Due to the procedural bases of the operation of housing communities, the selection of the appropriate offer of the credit institution in order to implement this project is a difficult and complex objective. For this purpose, the AHP method was applied.
