Summary/Abstract: The article presents effectiveness measurement`s issues in human resource management. In particular the article contains a review of effectiveness` definition in field of economics and the evolution of measurement`s models which are used in human resources department. Four models of effectiveness measurement in HRM are discussed in more detail: costs – benefits analysis, D. Kirkpatrick`s model, J. Philips`s and S. Penning`s model. The critical analysis of these models mainly concerned their advantages and disadvantages, as well as the possibilities of use in human resource management.
