Investment readiness as a determinant of enterprises innovativeness – trial of measurement

Summary/Abstract: Investment readiness is defined as the capacity of entrepreneurs who are looking for external finance to understand the specific needs of themselves and investors, and to be able to respond to these needs by providing relevant information about object of investment. The result of lack or low level of investment readiness is refusal of financing, even those projects which are innovative. That is why investment readiness is an important factor which determines the enterprise innovativeness. The aim of this paper is to emphasize the impact of investment readiness on innovation of enterprises and a trial to present how to measure the level of investment readiness of individual firm.
