Summary/Abstract: The death of Hicham Mandary, the Moroccan who broke through the thick walls of the palace of Morocco’s King Hassan II and unveiled the shady sides of a monarchy seen as of divine descent but whose human weaknesses reduce it to the ranks of ordinary mortals is the epilogue of a meteoric destiny for a schemer who threatened to disclose the secrets of the Sherifian monarchy. His death and his own life give themselves rise to many still unanswered questions.
