Extra Parliamentary Opposition in 2003

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the Romanian parliamentary opposition problems. The former leader party of the governmental coalition in 1996-2000, the National Peasant Christian Democratic Party (PNTCD) has split in several different parties of which none may be considered as a potential real alternative for the existing parliamentary parties. In fact, the recent polls credit them no future on the political arena.
