Summary/Abstract: The work raises the question of the conceptualism of war and occupation in reports of Krzysztof Kąkolewski referring to the first half of 20 century. The authoress situates his texts in the context of rich literature stream. She studies in what way these reports penetrate the realities which are historically distant. First, she underlines the incessant presence of the theme of war in the psyche of heroes (a psychological report). Sec-ondly, she undertakes the ethical aspect and raises old questions about responsibility of the Nazis for crimes against political relations in Europe (a report-interview).
