Narrations with a history background, or Copernicus in the clutch of pop-culture (Artur Górski, The treason of Copernicus)

Summary/Abstract: The article undertakes the reflection in area of popular culture, considering the thriller novel by Artur Górski. Author’s reflection express pragmatic references to historical backgrounds – especially to the main character of Nicolas Copernicus. By using the instruments of image strategies methodology and public relations strategy the author studies factors which influenced the creation of Copernicus character in this novel. Nicolas Copernicus – medieval intellectual – is “modernized” by anthropological and heroic ways.
